Lady Gaga Dresses Up In Extravagant Gold Outfit On Tokyo Trip

Lady Gaga has been pictured sporting a flamboyant gold outfit during her trip to Tokyo.

The 'Born This Way' star arrived in the Japanese capital earlier this week and has been spotted wearing a typically extravagant range of attire during the trip - including a spiked bike helmet .

The latest picture was taken as the singer stepped out of the Louis Vuitton Matsuzakaya Ginza store.

The 'You & I' singer arrived in Tokyo following news that her Twitter account had been hacked with fake messages being posted on her page.

Meanwhile, it was announced today that the singer will leak a free previously unheard track from 'Born This Way' on Christmas Day and has also*been named as one of the highest grossing live acts of 2011 .

Lady Gaga Named One Of Highest Grossing Live Acts Of 2011

Lady Gaga has been named as one of the top grossing live acts of the year.

The 'Monster Ball' tour was the second worldwide outing for the star and took around $72 Million in 2011.

The tour ran from November 2009 and climaxed in May this year after over 200 shows.

Gaga came in seventh place in the top ten list which was topped by Irish rockers U2.

Usher, Take That and Bon Jovi all featured in the round-up which also featured a top five position for American country singer Taylor Swift.

The 'Marry The Night' star is expected to announce details of a rumoured 450-date two year world tour soon which her producer claims will be an exagerated 'Monster Ball' outing.

Lady Gaga "So Happy" With Oscars Nomination

Lady Gaga has reacted to being long-listed for an Oscar at next year's Academy Awards.

The singer's collaboration with Sir Elton John, 'Hello Hello', is one of 39 songs shortlisted for a potential nomination at the ceremony in 2012.

The track appeared in the animation feature 'Gnomeo and Juliet', which was released earlier this year.

Reacting to the nomination on Twitter, Lady Gaga wrote: "Just heard my duet 'Hello, Hello' with Elton [John] is up for nomination at the Oscars! 'Gnomeo & Juliet' is such a beautiful film. I'm so happy!!"

Will.i.am also made the list with 'Hot Wings (I Wanna Party)' taken from the 3D film 'Rio'.

Other notable inclusions in the list are Robbie Williams ' duet with American country star Brad Paisley on 'Collision Of Worlds' for the Pixar animation 'Cars 2'.

The 84th Academy Awards take place in Hollywood on the 26th February and the night will be hosted by actor and comedian Billy Crystal.
